Like everything about it. It came well packaged with no bends or dents. It was very easy to install. My regular screen had been damaged and I was unable to get an exact replacement. This one fit my needs perfectly; we live in La and need this when its hot but not hot enough for the AC. It keeps out bugs and such and is just great. It is very sturdy and should last a long time. Love it!

I have been using these screens for a fw weks. I got them to help keep my cat from destroying the screens at the apartment I live it. Plus when a dog is outside she tries to h=jump through the window when it tries to get her..( yeah big problem) Anyways. I got these screens and I love them. They adjust to fit inside the frame of the wondow so when she jumps they don't budge. And if she claws them to get a bug it will leave like a space where her claws went through but all I do is rub my finger over the space and it goes back to normal. No rips, looks good as new. I have two sized windows I use the same large size in and ou can either use them to open horizontal or verticle. I had to atch a youtube o how to do this but once I saw it I had an aha moment. These were a little pricy for me but now that I have used them I am so happy I got them. Ended my worries of the cat going through the screen or ripping it. I need one more but need to save for it. Oh I also get copkients from my neightbors how good they look and wonder why I have nicer looking screens.lol

I am very happy to say, this screen fits nicely in place in my double hung windows. Just FYI, when you are attempting to measure your window opening, except for the custom made screens which are super expensive, this is the ONLY one I found that has the correct thickness to slide into the existing tracks on my windows. All the others sit/rest outside of the track. This one fits inside the track just like the original screens which is how it stays in place. The screen material itself is not too dark and easy to see through. The screen replacements arrived quickly and were easy to install. You just open the window, slip one side into the window track, then extend the other side to slip it into the opposite track. Nothing to screw or adjust, you just slide it in. As far as the height, I needed 18" . This is more like 21" high and I was worried it might be too tall, but because of the way it slips into the tracks, it is perfect that it extends slightly above the window so no bugs can get in. (If you get it too short, there would be a gap). This is perfect because it covers the gap. I previously had full screens on both my front windows. I have window boxes outside of these windows and wanted easier access to tend to the window boxes. This was the perfect solution. The sides slide easily and would also be easy to remove if you wanted to take them off for cleaning. Although these were not the least expensive replacement, they are exactly what I needed because of the thickness, so much better value that custom made and received much faster than I would have with custom replacements. I will definitely purchase more of these in the future now that I know they are the correct thickness to slide into the original screen track.

Good solution when you don't have screens in your windows. Only issue I have is they are a little tough to pull apart to fit into the window. But once they are in the window they are sturdy and screens are good quality.

I really like the quality of the screen. The only reason I bought them is because I have a cat who likes to scratch on the screen when she is by the window. I placed them in front of my other screen and she cannot rip through these which is amazing. I placed one on all five of my windows it doesn't bother me and it doesn't bother my cat and there are no holes on my screens. Since it is adjustable it's easy to install in any window. As long as you stretch it out to size it will not fall out of your window and it is very lightweight.

I have two windows on my first floor that do not have screens anymore - my cat saw to that. I don't have the windows open all that much cause once it gets hot, I am all about AC, so I could not justify replacing the old screens with new custom made ones at about 10 times the cost. I really only needed one since the other window is much smaller and they had one at the local home center that fit.And let me tell you there is no comparison in the build quality. These are well made and slide real smooth compared to the store bought one I have. Very little flex and the design keeps them aligned real well versus the other one that has a cheap wooden frame and only one contact point making it much easier to become lose and hard to install and remove over time. I know since I started the summer with one that I bought a few years back and did not make it a month this year.Installation is a snap, it was just a matter of taking it out the of the plastic, putting it in the window and opening it to fit into the frame then closing the window to keep it in place. There are more detailed instruction provided for sizing them, but for my purpose it took less than a minute to get it in place. Based on how easy it opens and closes and how often I will likely use it, I see this screen lasting a good long time. Plus I have a spare one so I am good to go for a few years or ready to replace the next screen my cat destroys. Definitely a quality screen and one I can recommend without hesitation.

The purpose of this product for us was to use it as a cat claw barrier for our existing single hung window screens as our cat has frequently gone after any thing moving that lands on the outside if the window screen and therefore causing damage to the built in screens with his claws. Problem solved with these sacrificial screens and now when the weather permits we can once again enjoy fresh air and save energy.

The media could not be loaded. I'm so happy to have a replaceable and easy to use option to keep my cats from damaging the built in screens! The screens stay in with the pressure of the window itself, so they're easy to secure and uninstall as needed. I got a large for my 53 inch high horizontally sliding windows, and the size is perfect. So happy!!!!!
