GLS Audio 150-Feet Ethercon Compatible RJ45 Cat6 Cable OFC Pro Tour Heavy Duty G-Shell G45

I do live sound and run these to my stage boxes. I use Allen Heath SQ, dLive, Behringer x32, Soundcraft Si/Vi and these cables work great on all of them.

In my initial review, I had mentioned that this cable was designed and manufactured with quality in mind. It is a very robust shielded Cat6 Ethercon cable that deserves to be rated highly! ....... But I absolutely NEED to revise this review after receiving unparalleled customer service directly from GLS Audio.Here is why......This 200' GLS Audio Cat6 Ethercon cable was purchased early Nov 2022. While on a gig in late Mar 2023, this cable received some damage (the end was accidentally knocked off), so I reached out to GLS directly and explained what had happened, asked about their warranty policy and provided my Amazon receipt in the same email. I was in shock that I received a response within the hour and was very happily surprised to see my claim escalated immediately!!Within 4 hours I received a notice from the 3rd customer support specialist, indicating that my cable replacement claim was approved and that I should receive it 4 days later ..... after I was initially told that this 200' cable was out of stock and may take about a week ... no biggies.HOWEVER, my replacement cable arrived here the DAY AFTER my contact with GLS Audio support staff!!! OMG! Be still my heart!! ❤️Normally, I do not spend much time writing details in this area of a review unless it is due to extremely poor quality and/or customer service, but GLS Audio gets my full attention and appreciation here .... which I feel truly deserves 6 STARS out of 5!!!!Here is my email to their support staff ... I think that says everything!!These days it's extremely rare to get such great customer support ......"I can not express to you how truly happy AND grateful I am for your TOP NOTCH customer service!!These days, in my experience as an independent entrepreneur, it is extremely rare …. if not impossible ….. to find customer care at a caliber even CLOSE to what you have provided to me! This is a solid cable, very strong and very high quality. I’m using this between a Behringer X32 at FOH position and an X32 Rack on the stage. As others have noted, one end of the shielding is not soldered, which was fixed by my soldering the disconnected side - a quick 5 minute job.IMPORTANT: some reviews mention that the cable does not lie flat - not true, it lies very flat, it’s perfect. When you first receive the cable you need to place one end on the ground and roll it out, rotating the entire roll of cable - do NOT just pull the cable off the roll or you will get coils all across the floor. If you roll it out it WILL lay flat. At this point, when you’re done, you can do the same in reverse to roll it up, but if you’re able to do the over/under coiling method, that works fine from that point forward (so the next time you use the cable you CAN just pull it off the roll, and do the over/under again to put it away).

Product came in fast and in great packaging, so that's one thing you'll have a piece of mind of, knowing that the product your buying is well taken care from the moment it leaves the factory to your home.When I 1st opened the packaging, the cable surpassed my expectations because the quality of it's built and and how it was designed really got me blown away. With the type of rigorous stress I put on my cables this was one cable I cant live without. I went through numerous Ethernet Cable for my AxeFx Xl 2 + and my MFC101 Mark 3, none of them has this type of built and quality that will withstand the stress I'll put on them while on the road for shows.I highly recommend this product! this product I wished I've dicovered before spending all those money in Ethernet cables that doesnt even come close to this ones that are made by GLS Audio!Thank you GLS Audio!

It works as you'd expect. The plugs are sturdy. The longevity depends largely on situational usage.

Worked flawlessly just like all other GLS Audio cables I have purchased. Very big fan of all of their cables that I have tried. This cable has the removable Ethercon shell to make it a standard RJ45 connector when needed without having to cut the end of the cable off. Only warning I have is to keep the rubber ring with the shell if removed. The ethercon shell will not stay on without the rubber ring. The cable is fairly stiff but is a product of it being a CAT6 cable and not the quality of the cable.

I am using this with a LyxPro 4-Channel pair of boxes connected via Ethercon. The quality of this cable is excellent, especially considering the lower price. It transmits noise-free too. And, finally, it is more flexible that I thought that it would be. If you are an old timer who remembers 10BASE2, this has about the same semi-flexible quality as that cable.Unfortunately it will not transmit phantom power, and I suspect that is because one end of the ground is lifted. However, if you don't need phantom power this is a great value based on price, quietness and overall construction.
