Taza Chocolate Organic Amaze Bar 95% Stone Ground, Wicked Dark with Ginger, 2.5 Ounce (10 count), Vegan

This is my favorite chocolate, and some of the podcasts I listen to have informed me that it has significantly less cadmium and lead in it compared with other chocolates. It is made with very little sugar and it also has ginger in it which I love. And chocolate is a high fiber food!

Participated in the Zöe study - one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my health (and wallet) in my life. Led by internationally renowned universities and scientists, this is the real deal with objective measurements that led to specific conclusions and “user manual “ instructions for each individual that completes it. With that said, dark chocolate is a treat go-to for me, but not all dark chocolate is alike. I found this dark chocolate scored high for my specific gut biome, blood fat and blood sugar responses in my zöe app. It tastes great and doesn’t leave me longing for more, like all other addictive food stuffs out there designed to do just that. The food industry (and big pharma) can keep their grubby hands off my health and wallet thank you very much. Highly recommend this dark chocolate (almonds or ginger)!

i thought that this would be extremely dark and bitter for me but it's actually perfect for my taste. (be warned i enjoy black coffee) the richness of the chocolate infused with the ginger is 👌🏻

95% means that there is very little sweetness, and the stone ground texture is grainy. I personally enjoyed the rich bitter chocolate flavor with a hint of ginger, but I'm sure this isn't for everyone. I would have preferred more ginger for a better balance to the strong chocolate flavor, but it was still good.

I am a huge fan of dark chocolate with ginger, and it is not easy to find. Taza is one of the chocolate companies that was found to have a safe levels of lead and cadmium, so I'm so happy that they make this flavor.

I felt unwell in my stomach after eating these. I got them because they are healthy, but it was worse than any medicine I’ve eaten. Do not buy in bulk like I did without making sure they work for you.

Not too sweet or bitter. I like the slight crunch with the ginger.

Taza's 95% dark chocolate is about the strongest chocolate you're going to find, so I'd highly recommend buying a single bar to try first before committing to a 10 pack. The texture is a bit gritty and somewhat reminiscent of munching on roasted coffee beans. Having said that, I really enjoy it and it's a great way to enjoy chocolate without having too much sugar. The ginger variety is the sweetest with 5 grams per half a bar. I also like the toasted quinoa variety, which only has 2 grams of sugar per half bar.
