It was exactly what I wanted

I was so excited to find this available. I have several pieces purchased in England in 1995-1997. The quality is outstanding and I always receive so many compliments. I have the larger canisters for flour, sugar and cereal so I loved finding this one for coffee. Smaller than my others but the perfect size for a bag of specialty coffee. The seal is tight and will keep it fresh. Do not place in location they can be splashed from grease. I learned this the hard way with my utensil one (but I still use it)!

Liked the colour, the snug fit of the lid.

This is a really nice canister. It is super heavy and well made. The lid does seal air tight (in fact, it can sometimes be difficult to remove the lid.). Also, the canister and logo are very pretty. My husband got a kick out of "for use on safari." The color is a true terracotta color. If you own a terracotta pot, then this is the color of the canister. It looks good on your counter or pretties up your pantry. I have also used these in the freezer to freeze coffee with no problems.

This can is awesome lid keeps coffee fresh seals perfectly nice look very happy.

We got one of these Henry Watson Pottery coffee storage canister 40 years ago as a wedding gift. It finally gave up the ghost & I was so happy to find it still available. Sturdy & practical as ever! The old lid still works so we use it for its sentimental value.
