Q: When I pulled the inner security tab, it popped like it was highly pressurized; then there was all this foam. Is this normal?

This was probably bottled near sea level and I'd guess you are at a higher elevation. Just atmospheric pressure difference.

Q: Why are other brands not showing added sugar yet you claim yours is from Nectar? Pure means pure.

I'm new to soy sauce substitutes but looked into the sugar issue when I saw this question and answer last year. I found the FDA site and it said for single ingredient products- like pure honey or maple syrup- it doesn't have to be declared as added sugar. However this product also has salt, making it a two-ingredient product. I did notice last year that other coco aminos products didn't have the declared sugar, however my hypothesis is it took time for all of them to update their labeling. I just looked at 2 listings for Big Tree Farms Organic Coco Aminos; one for a 32oz and one for two 10 oz. Both have the same ingredients but the 32 oz says 0 added sugar while the 10 oz says 4 grams. I'm guessing the 32 oz is an older listing. like I said that's just my hypothesis from what I've learned. You might want to ask the other companies that still have zero added sugar listings why that is. You can do an internet search for" FDA sugar" to find the regulations.
