Fuse specification
The chiller has kept my 20-gallon aquarium at 20°C since 2021 (for three years) without issues, but recently I noticed the panel was off, and it had stopped working. Although the fuse didn’t look burnt, a closer look under the microscope revealed it was broken. The fuse type is T5AL250VP. I ordered a replacement from Amazon ($5.99 for a pack of 20), and it seems to be working fine now.https://a.co/d/31aVpUO

Not even 4 months old
It just stopped working. Its on, i can hear it running but it's no longer keeping my tank cold as its supposed to. I'm trying to contact ANYONE that can help me. I bought it in LATE MARCH 2021! I haven't had it for a full six months yet and it just stops working? Did I get sent a defective product? I don't know! I can't talk to anyone!5.26.2021I spoke to Amazon a few days ago, and they sent me a new unit for free and it was easy to send the old one back. However, I think the new one was used, there was water INSIDE the plastic (I thought maybe it was condensation), and before I even set it up I could already hear that something was loose. I still gave it a chance, hooked it up, plugged it in, and it started shaking, and it sounded like a car engine on idle. NOT what it's supposed to sound like, maybe the fan or the compressor got knocked out of place in the shipment process, I don't know.Almost sent this one back, but at this point I'll just fix it myself. They were going to charge me a 'restocking fee' of about $92 that was going to come out of my refund for a SECOND DAMAGED ITEM THEY SENT ME. I'm not going to wait a whole week for a refund or wait who knows how long for a new chiller and just let my axolotls boil in their tank. However, while it was working it was perfect. It was quiet, just barely hear a low humming while the compressor was on, and the built in temperature gage did wonders in letting me know my tank was at the right temperature.

It's keeping my temps within a nice accurate two degree range
Installed a few days ago into a 'frog tank' which is a 40 gallon size aquarium with 15 gallons of water in it.. It's very quiet, as quiet as about any typical small fridge unit. It's keeping my temps within a nice accurate two degree range. Didn't even need to calibrate it; it appears to be quite accurate.I don't have AC in my house and my tank got to dangerous temps, killing some of the snails. Now, it stays at 74F...or whatever I desire. In my case the duty cycle is about 15 minutes on, two hours off. It does throw a lot of heat...expected considering my tank wants to be at 82F...that's a lot of energy to take out of the tank to keep the temperature reasonable in the summer. So I keep the unit in a location that gets lots of ambient air. I also run a floor fan sometimes and I believe this unit benefits from the extra airflow. So far...excellent!

Am a bit worried.
Hooked this up to a Fluval Sea Evo 13.5 and it is cooling the water down by 2 degrees in 25 minutes, which is reasonable. Ambient air temp during the day is 89. Set point is 78. Everything performing as expected, only.....My biggest concern about this chiller is that it is so darn quiet, you can't tell if the compressor is on or off. You actually have to touch it to see if there is vibration. Gone are the good old days when the lights would dim when the compressor cuts in, and you can hear it half mile away. What has the World come to? ;-)Toodles!UPDATE - Dumped the Fluval in Nov. 2020 and upgraded to a Aqueon 29 gallon. Taking 57 minutes to drop the temp by 2degrees.UPDATE - 2 Years in. Not a thing has gone wrong with it. Bummer :-)

PERFECT FOR AXOLOTLS
This is a great chiller! I have two axolotls so they require certain temperatures and with summer creeping in i worried the fans wouldn’t be enough (as the temperature did fluctuate past 70 on some days) so i needed that security to feel safe. We purchased this and it’s great! Although they sent me the mini chiller from JBJ? Either way I’m happy with my purchase. The reviews are right about it being a degree off (whether above or below) but it hasn’t effected it. I’ve had it for almost a month now and haven’t had issues and i can’t complain! The styrofoam in the back kind of worried me but after speaking to the company it turns out it’s there with a purpose! Haha but would recommend this product 100000% if you have temperature sensitive animals like mine

Second time is the charm
We ordered this chiller (JBJ artic 1/15hp). Moment the cooling kicked in made a huge racket. Checked online- not okay, sign there is an issue. Asked for a return to Amazon on Sunday- new chiller in our house on Tuesday. Hooked up the replacement, chiller cooling our 25 gallon reef well, very quiet
