Does this work well for dissolving construction adhesives (e.g. Liquid Nails)?

I don't know. I use it for thinning enamel based paints and cleaning my brushes, so if liquid nails has any of the properties of enamel paints, it might. Seems like it could.

will this remove old paint on wood floor

i am an artist and work with "Oil Paints", and it cleans up paints that are still "WET" but you will probably need a stripper to remove old paint on floors that has dried.
