Q: Are some of these supposed to have black on the inside of them....sure did look like black mold

No, that is not mold. The drying process of the figs leaves some dark spots and some too soft spots. Refrigerate after opening and wash the figs before eating. Store them in a dry cold place (a fridge would be fine).. Nothing to worry about. I came from Iraq and ate dried figs all my life. This Turkish brand is among the best.

Are you sure it is bad? These dried figs have natural black spots and some very soft spots. This is a natural outcome of the drying process. However, if you are sure they are bad, contact Amazon.
