Looks like the plush one I got. No plastic moving parts.

Q: 12.5 inches tall, or 12.5 inches long?

At this time I really don't remember. It was a gift to my grandson out of town. However I do believe the 12.5 is referring to it's length. I will tell you it's well made and absolutely ADORABLE.
