The seller is based in Osaka, Japan. The kelp was harvested in Hokkaido, Japan, so I assume it was dried, shredded, and made into an edible form in some facility in Hokkaido.

It is ready to eat. I mixed with vegetables and make a good cold dish

Iodine is not listed. Kelp, soy sauce, salt, caramel (?), and MSG is listed. I use this product all the time but first time for me to check. Thank you!
