The J1 version (Made in Japan) has the days of the week in either select able English or Japanese Kanji The K1 version (Made in Korea/Malaysia) has the days of the week in either select able English or Spanish

Is this originally made in Japan?

It has the words “Made in Japan” on the watch and dial which is important for Seiko enthusiasts like me. Seiko doesn’t share exactly how much of the watch is produced in Japan, but there are some requirements that have to be met for them to be able to print “Japan” in the watch.
