It is not recommended to place any knife or items with wooden parts in the dishwasher as the heavy jet streams, flying debris and harsh chemicals can push metal against other items, and may also damage the wooden handle

Q: Is this safe on teflon pans?

Hi Albert, I've sent an update on your email. You can use the Dalstrong Spatula on non-stick pans but we would suggest sticking to a wood, silicone, or plastic tool because anything metal may scrape the nonstick coating away. Have an awesome day.
