ComfyMed® Neck Brace CM-NB18 Cervical Neck Support Collar for Men and Women (LGE (15"-18"))

This is the one 🙌🏼 I was skeptical to buy one of these without having it in front of me but I'm so thankful I did. The material on the inside is so soft & smooth, makes it 10 times more comfortable to wear than something you'd get at Walgreens or Rite-Aid. The support is perfect & solid yet comfortable beyond belief honestly. It keeps me aligned as I move around. Got it this morning and I have gotten so so much relief!!! It gives just a tad while staying firm, you can do things and it stops you from making a wrong move by being sturdy. The pain subsided almost immediately. It forms to your neck. I'm in need of neck surgery but until.then, I need something good and solid. This is the one. If you need a serious one, the cheap cheesy ones at department stores aren't enough, but you dont need the extreme the heavy duty framed ones, this is absolutely the one to try. 5 starts for sure. The blue band is thicker in appearance but nothing structurally different about it it doesn't appear. The only thing neutral I can say is when it comes, it's shipped flat. I rolled it up tight, put 2 hair ties around it and let it set for an hour. It curves it a bit. I'm going to do that again for longer (rubberband, same thing) and wrap it up tight. I love it 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

I have rarely ever left negative feedback in the 20 years of being with Amazon. But when a product's measurement is advertised incorrectly - especially in an important medical item I felt I needed to share. Due to when I purchased this item this review is not a knee jerk response. This does not fit 15" to 18" - I am <14" - It was so stiff and tight felt it was strangling and cutting off air supply Couldn't even wear. Unfortunately, I wasn't well enough to ship back so that is on me.If you are looking to buy this item - purchase a size up.

This is a soft neck brace that will keep your neck raised upright and when snugged tight, will lessen neck movement. It works well for my back and neck injury and is constructed with a soft foam pad covered with a non-removable black soft material and some blue netting material on the outside that improve its appearances for wearing it everywhere. It fastens closed with a Velcro tab, and can be adjusted for fit, and doesn't interfere at all with my sleep at night.I purchased the large size for my average build just under 6 feet tall and it is a bit tight, which is what you want. Wearing terry-cloth under the brace helps absorb the sweat during warmer months, and a neck warmer helps keep out the cold in the winter months along with the natural insulating provided by the brace material. This tends to make the brace fit tighter so I would like to have a second brace that is one size larger (XL) to switch between as needed. Unfortunately there are only regular and large sizes available.The brace is really worth its weight in gold for when you happen to doze off when sitting, and very importantly, it will provide support and keep your head upright while it is securely fastened in place. And that's a nice thing to know.

I have not been able to use because I have not been able to get it to shape it nis flat with two semi curves after over a month of storing it wrapped around and trying to form it with hands. If it would curve it would be 5 stars as I can't find a brace that's tall enough and I liked that this one had the extra support without being a hard brace. As someone who lives in a neck brace I was really excited about the fit and comfort overall and the extra support with the hard parts inside the foam except the shape hurts because it doesn't curve around the neck on a circle with the hard parts inside.

This brace has it's good and bad. It by far gives the most rear neck support out of all of the soft braces I have tried. But the down fall is has a hard core and after only two days of daytime wear the foam pushed down on the top and bottom were it rests on your chest and chin leaving the hard core pressing on your chest and chin. This makes it very uncomfortable.

This brace seems to be good quality and very supportive, but it's way too tall for me. I thought from the photos that the black edges folded down to fit the individuals neck, but that's not the case, for me anyway. It's so tall theres pressure against the bottom of my ears and under my chin. It's very firm, which gives great support, but not a good fit for a petite person. Unless maybe you're petite but have a very long neck.

I love this product. I have had three cervical fusions, and I am plagued with left side headaches. Also, for some reason I need support when working at the computer to prevent neck discomfort. I ordered two neck supports before this one. Neither were long enough and left the Velcro attachment in the back as part of the support. Also the Velcro was uncomfortable on my neck. Both collars also narrowed at the back, which did not give the support that I needed, posteriorly. Cervical collars should support the spine front and back. The Comfy Med Neck Brace has support front and back, as a proper brace should. It is long enough because of the way it is made, the Velcro attachment being adjustable. I worked as an orthopedic registered nurse over thirty years. This is an excellent brace.

Should have listened to my gut ...my first impression after reading all the negative reviews was to pass on this one but it seemed very well made and we would provide great support. If you were a giraffe and don't mind feeling like your being choaked by a 4" piece of cardboard this is the collar for you. I have decided to go with something more comfortable.
