Tablecraft Glass Spoon Rest, 8 x 3.5 x 1.25, Green

If you like jadeite glass then you probably already know that it’s expensive, for what it is. This piece is nicely shaped, heavy for its size, and at a very reasonable price.

It works great in my kitchen. The color is just the green i wanted.

Perfect for my teaspoon for coffee/tea. Packaged well, arrived in one piece and earlier than expected. Just fits a wooden spoon but, I didn't need it for that. I may have looked for something a litle bigger if that was the case.

Got this for my mother who loves jadite--wanted to get her replacement for an old plastic spoon rest that went with her collection but which wouldn't freak everyone out if it did somehow manage to get broken. This is a very well done piece, big enough for every spoon in her kitchen from metal to wood, serving to personal. I picked this spoon rest (instead of one of the other modern jadite types) because it was smooth (no designs to catch sauce) which made it easy to pop in the top rack of the dishwasher or handwash, and because it fit the widest range of spoons. It is sturdy and looks really amazing. Very happy. Even better, mom loves it.

Has a darker more blue green tint to it when comparing to real vintage jadeite pieces.
