Trader Joes used to sell a similar item, then they stopped. This is the closest thing I have found to replace it. My wife's favorite meal is chicken breasts simmered with this along with fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic and bell pepper, all served on rice with nan bread and a side of chutney.Works well with shrimp, and other proteins as well. Quick dinner with a wow factor. It's a little mild, so we add some heat.

UPDATE:I ordered another case of this sauce and it arrived well packed and all jars intact. You can have your star back.ORIGINAL REVIEW: This makes a great base for authentic butter chicken. Add a couple pinches of sugar, a quarter cup heavy cream or coconut milk, two teaspoons of butter and your chicken. Serve with naan. My husband and I love this sauce.One star docked because the vendor didn’t wrap it very well and a jar broke, it was a big mess.

This stuff is so delicious with fried paneer, but I found it at Walmart for a much lower price!

Some cans came moldy, unsealed. The sealed cans were tasty though.
