Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Pore-Reducing Toner: A Must-Have for Oily & Combination Skin
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using the Paula’s Choice Pore-Reducing Toner for a while, and it has made a noticeable difference in my skin. It’s designed for oily and combination skin, and it really helps control shine and minimize the appearance of pores.Pros:✔ Lightweight & Hydrating – Unlike some toners that dry out the skin, this one keeps it balanced and refreshed.✔ Controls Oil Without Stripping – My skin feels clean but not tight, which is perfect for oily areas.✔ Niacinamide for Pore Refinement – Helps with skin texture, reduces redness, and minimizes the look of pores over time.✔ Soothes & Calms Skin – Contains antioxidants and hydrating ingredients that help reduce irritation.Cons:✖ Might Not Be Hydrating Enough for Dry Skin – If your skin leans more towards dry, this might not give you enough moisture.✖ Results Take Time – Pore reduction isn’t instant, but with consistent use, you’ll see improvements.Final Thoughts:If you have oily or combination skin and want a light, non-irritating toner that helps with shine and pores, this is a great choice! It works well in a routine with other niacinamide or exfoliating products like BHA.

Perfecto para mi rutina de skinker
Very good product. It's a super-good brand. All of their products are fantastic. Since I started using it, I've noticed a difference in my pores, and it also contains niacinamide.

SAVED MY SKIN! NO MORE ACNE! MOISTURIZED
Paula's Choice has single-handedly saved my skin. I use this and their BHA Salicylic Acid toner every morning and night, and I swear it's changed my life. I also pair it with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer. A golden trio of products, let me tell you. I 100% recommend it. I’ve been buying their 12 oz bottles every month!

It works
I feel I have always taken care of my skin. Even with regular facials and the use of many products my larger pores on my nose contained filament that looked like tiny blackheads. I bought 1 oz of this product and Paula’s product with salicylic acid. I have used both twice a day for approx 7 days on my nose. There is slight flaking of skin on my nose but no longer the little black dots or enlarged pores. I have also used a tool that when I apply pressure allows some stubborn filament to come out of pores. I am so happy with these products. They are working quickly to do what I have been trying to do for years.

Noticeably Smaller Pores
This toner made a real difference in my T-zone. My skin feels less greasy, and the pores look smaller after just a week of use. It’s gentle with no stinging, and layers great under moisturizer. Definitely staying in my skincare routine!

Not much oil control to justify price...
I've been holding off on thid review, hoping for something to justify its price. However, I have not found anything to do so. While its a good toner, its exactly that, just a good toner.I was using a drug store witch hazel toner before this. I have oily skin that does so much better without tuner, letting my face wash and matching moisturizer do its thing. However, toner is a must to thoroughly clean your face and remove skin flaking (I use cvs brand exfoliating cotton rounds, nothing compares to them).I don't have acne, so I can't speak for that aspect. I can say I have noticed in comparison to the toner I was using prior, I blot my face less. However, I still have to blot all day, so this toner isn't really doing me much of a favor. And again, this is also combined with a great face wash and moisturizer for oily skin.Overall, I don't see the $22 price tag I bought it for as justifiable. I've used many oily skin products over the years, from drug store to department store; from my experience, this toner is over-priced. Maybe it will work for you, and work well for acne. For myself, I will be trying other brands in hope to one day find a toner that has real oil control.

Made a huge difference!
So, at the ripe old age of 36, I am feeling motivated to do something for my skin, as I don’t really wear makeup except for special occasions. For my entire life I have pretty much just used a facial cleanser and then a moisturizer. I have sensitive skin, so I’ve just always been a little nervous to try new stuff on it. But my friend overhauled her skin routine recently and was actually glowing, so I asked her about it. She suggested just adding a toner. I, of course, hit up some Amazon reviews and decided to try the Paula’s Choice Toner and the Paula’s Choice Exfoliator. Wow - my skin looks so smooth now!! My color is more even, and my pores are not as noticeable. My sister even commented on how different and brighter my skin was. The Exfoliator makes my skin itch, so I have dropped it the past couple months and I haven’t noticed a difference, so I’m 98% sure that the changes were due to the Toner. The cost is not amazing, but I think fair, so I’m happy with this! I’m really happy with the results!
