Godey's Fashions Paperback – 28 June 2005

Lovely images, with plenty of scope to personalise shading etc. I bought some colouring books as rainy day entertainment before a last minute holiday, if I had not purchased quickly I might have read through more reviews and seen that this book has an issue which makes it a great disappointment for us. There is bleed through on the pages when using anything other than pencil, which is a shame as the paper seems reasonable quality but is apparently quite porous. It's a shame the printers didn't anticipate this issue and print on only one side. I probably won't use this book now as I feel it's spoiled, I don't often use pencils as I don't want to splash out on artist grade pencils to get the vibrancy I want, and I already have art grade fibre/ink pens with good colour range which I love using.

Not my favourite with its heavy black lines (although the drawings are lovely) Lots of blank space to colour where I prefer smaller sections.Nothing wrong with the actual book, just not my cup of tea.

Illustrations in book were good quality but was disappointed by the thickness of the pages. Whilst colouring an illustration with felt tipped pens I noticed that I was getting soak thro which spoilt the illustration on the other side of page with small dots of colour
