UPDATE: 11/10/2024I'm finally using the monitor and have been for a few days now, and I can't deny how beautiful it is. No dead pixels (was worried about that), no glitches or tearing, and everything is working perfectly so far! VRR works perfectly. Make sure to enable it in the montior settings in the gaming menu list and turn on adaptive sync. You then will be able to select VRR on the system that requires it, if needed. The monitor is well worth the money I paid, and I got what I needed and expected. If anything changes, I will definitely come back to change my review, but I can't deny that this is an awesome gaming monitor and all the components work well so far. I haven't tried the HDMI that came with the monitor because I am using the one that came with the PS5 Pro console. This monitor+PS5 Pro+games+Pro enhanced games = great magic! Hopefully it stays great for a long time and I don't get egg on my face. No complaints! Thanks you sellers of MSI.But do not plan to use the monitor until I receive the system that it will be hooked up to, which will come in about a month. I did open the package to make sure the monitor and other components that it is supposed to come with, were in the box. Everything that I could see at the time was in the box and I was happy to receive it safely. The monitor came packaged well, so I assume the monitor should work fine. Screen was fine and looking nice with no dents or scratches. Albeit the power cord is short, it does come with a switching adapter which is good. The reason for the 4 stars is because, I don't plan to use it yet, but want to keep note of this product from the day I received it. I did notice the adapter was outside of the plastic baggy and not securely taped inside the baggy like the rest of the items. It looked as though it was added last minute. I'm hoping that adapter is okay and not used. But aside from it being outside the plastic baggy, it looked fine and did look new, so hopefully it works fine too. Will update this review once I have the monitor up and running, and will be checking for dead pixels, 4K picture quality and color, and the lifespan of this monitor; which I hope will be an extremely long time, or at least until I plan on upgrading to another. Will change star rating accordingly.Also wish I would have gotten the cheaper deal on this monitor...but that's another story. If I'm happy with it, I won't mind the extra $31 I paid and will feel it was well deserved.

Purchased this monitor for my 13-year-old son. He uses it for gaming on his powerful gaming computer and he says it works very well. High resolution, fast refresh rate (120 Hz) and even illumination. Appears to work quite well for aggressive gaming applications. The price was not outrageous, so I think it was a good purchase.

This monitor is a decent price, high resolution, high refresh rate, bright, sizeable, and has great build quality and aesthetic appeal. I could certainly recommend it. It has felt great to use in all capacities but there is just one minor catch for me and that is the viewing angle.Even looking directly onto the screen I see some dimness in the corners due to the angle. This changes if I change my position so it's definitely a viewing angle problem. It's not a big deal and not too noticeable. I don't find it distracting, but sometimes I notice and it's just a bit of a shame.Sincerely this is a great monitor, but if you're picky about angles just consider this.

I was ready to upgrade to a 4k monitor from a 1440p curved 32" screen and I put a lot of research into it before I settled on this monitor. I knew I didn't want another 32" because I don't sit far enough away from my monitor for it to be ideal while gaming. I also knew I didn't want OLED because of the possible burn-in factor and the hefty price tag. I did, however, want it to be 144 hz or better. That narrowed my options, since 27" is not a popular size for 4k monitors. From my research, I had two options for panel type: IPS and VA. VA is the older technology between the two and my previous monitor was a VA panel. VA panels seem to be primarily found on curved screen monitors and I was ready to go back to a flat screen, so that had me leaning towards IPS. The thing that sealed the deal is how bright of a display IPS panels have and how realistic the colors they produce are. All that technical stuff aside, this monitor has blown away my expectations. The colors are gorgeous ,the response time is super fast, I have had no issues with it at all. There is one quirky feature to be aware of with this monitor. If you turn on HDR/DCR in the monitor settings, the screen will dim if the majority of your screen is dark. I have gotten used to it, but initially I thought I was losing my mind. I opted to keep this feature on because it produces an even brighter display and higher contrast ratio, but there are times I may turn it off depending on what I'm doing. All in all, I highly recommend this monitor. It's very high quality and a great value.

Unfortunately mine was malfunctioning when it was received.

The media could not be loaded. This gaming monitor has amazing graphics and many settings to adjust if you wish. I play on a PS5 and it makes gameplay feel almost like a movie! This would make a great fit for someone who is either a gamer or context creator this monitor has a lot to offer. This is your sign to get one!

Super Clear. The combined super low response time with the high refresh rate alone makes this an incredible monitor. Then factor in the fact it is also 4K, which makes it beyond incredible. I looked at many options in a 27 flat and this by far had the best of 3 worlds (Response Time, Refresh Rate, Resolution) Then add in looking at prices on other options some were higher and had less to offer. Normally I am a big fan of ASUS products and solely build PCs using mainly ASUS, but this monitor is super hard to beat for options + price.

If you have a PS five and wondering, does it work for 120 FPS it does and has VVR, which is really good. The monitor size is good. It looks good. I don’t have any issues with it right now but if I do, I’ll update the review.
