QC & Assembly Line Fail
Overall the individual parts are well-made. I bought the Razor Tour Pak with black hardware and here is some instructions and bits of info about the product and process. The last 50' of the assembly line fails - There were several irritating issues with the product. 1) the seat back was not stapled properly. The cut in the pad is to line up the cut with the underneath bolt in the seat. As you can see it was stapled on at the top of the backrest, 2) there are three holes in the tour pak that serve no purpose (unless you need breathing holes when you leave your cat in the trunk overnight ), 3) The entire tether & assembly needs some oversight (holes drilled in the wrong place, offset connection for the bottom tether, tether too long and then wrapped around the bolt instead of using the grounding ring/grommet, etc. 4) Quick disconnects will not seat properly (there is a couple of reviews wherein the quick-disconnects fail and the trunk falls off on the highway - the MFG told them they did not install it correctly. If you don't provide instructions - how do you claim your customer didn't do it right) 5) as others have stated; no pre-drilled holes or marks for the backrest.1) Tools needed: T45 Star bit, 10mm wrench, large phillips screwdriver, 1/4 inch drill bit.2) The black hardware will need some time - not because of anything else other than they're very small and it takes time.3) Be sure to use loctite on everything.4) After placing the box and quick-connect platform on the bike; it's time to fix the tether. Check the lean on your bike and cut the tether to size (You made need a new grounding ring terminal - very small).5) When mounting the backrest - others have said to measure. I heated up the bolts on the backrest with a lighter, set it into place and let the heated bolts make the marks for me to drill.6) Quick-disconnect platform - This kind of bothered me as I got it for family members to use. The thought of it coming off and the way the quick-connects don't seem to seat properly caused me concern. A type of solution is - if you leave or take off the backrest and put on your factory sissy bar/pad - it fits in front of the tour pak and there's less concern. Not quite as nice as you'd like, but a lot safer. When riding around by myself - I stick the backrest back on real quick. All in all - the MFG could do a much better job of providing instructions, doing the tether and cables correctly, review the machining on the quick-disconnects, getting rid of the air holes, pre-drilling the back rest holes, and provide you with a steel mounting plate in the box instead of making it a separate purchase (I used larger washers and lock washers (not provided)) In the end; it looks good, but if I had it to do over I would go with a different MFG to ensure more peace of mind and safety for my passengers.

Great value
I really like it. The paint is very good and it works well. Bought this to compliment my King Tour Pak. I use it when I'm riding solo or locally but still want the convenience and a little extra storage of a tour pak. My girl isn't that fond of it because the King is more comfortable and of course holds 3 times more. One problem, however, is the pad. It is already coming apart after only a month, but I still give it five stars because of the price. FYI I switched out the hardware so the pics show black latches but it comes with chrome.

The perfect touch at a perfect price!
Perfect! Tour pak, backrest pad, liner and removeable hdwe. all fit like a glove! Exactly what Harley sells for about 1/4th the cost! I put nothing but the best on my Harleys, but this year I quit buying the Harley brands, priced out of the market! So far, everything I have ordered from this co. has been exactly as theirs (without the fancy packaging and of course the instructions!)! Come on bikers, if u can’t figure this stuff out, u need to be ridin a Honda or something!

OK but you need to do some stuff..
Ok, generally overall I am happy with this trunk. Just be advised you're going to have to take care of some things; if you use it as-is you won't be a happy biker. First thing, the spring-loaded strap is a joke, just trash it. I replaced it with one from Harley...like $30.00. Much better. Second thing, the backrest leather is literally just stapled into it's plastic mold. I went to you-know-where and got a pop-rivet gun and 100 rivets for under $10.00. I went around and put a rivet in between each staple. There are two "humps" of plastic where the backrest sits on the plastic of the trunk...don't pop-rivet there. It is *much* more secure now. Open the lid and look at the top part. You'll see where you need to drill to mount the backrest. Easy peazy. Mounting...I have a 2012 Road Glide with the permanent mounting bracket. I removed the Tour Pak but left the bracket as-is. There is a recessed piece on the bottom of the replacement trunk which nicely fits the existing bracket...you just have to drill the holes. All I did was take a piece of cardboard and taped it securely to the bracket, then outlined it with a permanent marker. Then I got a nail and punched up through the existing (threaded) mounting holes and the cardboard. Cut the outline out, centered it and taped it to the bottom of the new trunk and drilled where the nail came through. I had to elongate one hole about 1/8" and secured them with blue thread lock, lock washers and two nuts each. You will have to figure out your own antenna situation. I never used the CB and bought Harley's internal FM antenna. It does fine for local stations and I Bluetooth everything else. I got around $300 in the trunk which is less than half what the "other guys" want for basically the same setup. So far no issues with the hinges or latch. I'd do it again.

Great trunk
Ok the trunk is nice and nice think plastic, but I had to drill the 3 holes for the back rest. Other than that I am happy with the product. The rack fit on bike perfect and I had to drill the 4 holes to mount it but there is indentation so no guess work out the 4 bolts holes to mount it. But no indentation for the back rest. But I also bought the support plate to help trunk not crack. I also bought the black latch and hinge kit as well and those worked out great. Price here way better than Harley price.

Good for the money
Prompt delivery, very good black paint. The razor pack has four extra holes drilled in it where im assuming they were going to install another type of tether.Emailed seller, was told "manufacturer said holes are behind backrest ,water will not leak in" I dont find this acceptable that there are four holes in it..They did offer me $15 off though.Ended up Buying a tether from another seller and it lined up with the holes perfectly, problem solved!UPDATE-MAKE SURE you put lock tight on the screws for the quick detach hardware, mine fell off and I almost lost the trunk!!!
