LifeStraw Sip – Reusable Stainless Steel Water Filter Drinking Straw

I drank from a stream and didn't get food poisoning, what else is there to say?I take this straw with me whenever I go hiking or backpacking and it has never let me down. The water doesn't have a funky taste after coming through the straw and it doesn't feel like I'm sucking a golf ball through a garden hose when I use it either. It is very easy to use and I also love the fact that it is stainless steel. It feels much more sturdy than other life straws that are plastic and feels like there is a lot more attention to quality in these straws.

The LifeStraw has a great design. It's thin and compact and easy to store and is portable. Will use this not only for hunting but also for general travel.

Bought as a stocking stuffer for camping enthusiast. Good quality and great size to throw in a backpack or keep in the car for emergencies.

Because of water quality being questionable nowadays. We travel. But mostly for every day. I previously bought the life straw flask. It worked great especially through airport spigot refillers. But I couldn’t find a replacement filter. So I decided because of Amazon reviews to purchase these Life Straws. I purchased the 3 large size straws. I really like them a lot! They have their own case to store. Easily fits in your hand bag etc. And compared to the flask. These straws a really easy to sip from!

You can’t really test if it actually does what it says, so that kind of sucks. Usually these things come with some sort of tester to see if it is actually doing what it says, or even the other ones have a clear lining at the top so you can see that the water coming out is clean. This one doesn’t. The design is… not a straw. They have other cheaper ones that are not only smaller but even last longer.. this thing is huge, barely fits in a water bottle and I thought I would be able to easily keep it on me. The silicone top makes the water taste slightly like silicone Couldn’t have used a different lining? The main issue though is the size. The thing is like a mini baseball bat, I don’t understand why they call it a straw. I would recommend getting anyone of their other products.. Another thing I'd like to add is the poor material choices. BothStainless steel and Silicone are alergens.allergens.. I have been getting headaches and I'm not sure if it from this, but I haven't had good experience with stainless steel before.. I thought this was aluminum.
