Best Glittery Gel Pens Ever!
Wow! Best glittery gel pens ever! Are they expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? Absolutely! Their only down side is that they run out way too fast, though, not unreasonably so for the high quality. Such rich colors! I do a lot of coloring of drawings that I draw, and I wish their beauty translated to photos, since I like to share my art with family and friends. Unfortunately, the colors look dull and strange in photos. These pens create colors that change depending on where the light is coming from.Buy these and enjoy! They're awesome! Thank you, Pentel!

Wonderful gel pens with great sparkle, lots of coverage, great for coloring books
These are hands down my favorite pens to use for coloring and art. I love them in adult coloring books and Johanna Basford’s books. They have a thicker tip so, it’s easy to color a larger space, however the ink goes quickly as it uses a good amount. The tips never clog but be sure to store them with the tip facing upwards as they have a tendency to leak if you don’t store them upright- that’s my only complaint. They aren’t very transparent and really offer great coveragePurple has almost a bluish sheen to it depending on how you hold it in the light, amazing sparkleBlue is deep and vibrant with a teal sheen, the most sparkle of them allSilver seems a little transparentGold is more yellowGreen is almost teal but would work great for foliageBlack reflects pink/redOrange is a very vibrant deep orange with a yellow sheenPink is vibrant and has a pink sheen. The colors are vivid and sparkle. They live up to the name “Sparkle POP” because they do just that. The ink flows very smooth and is very satisfying to write and color with. For those of you who like to do adult coloring these are perfect- they also go over color pencil exceptionally well. Since a lot of ink flows out of the tip, I feel like the pens don’t last very long and use the ink up quickly. They need a moment to dry or they will smudge.I hope they come out with more colors because these are the most sparkly, vibrant pens I’ve found.. You won’t be disappointed. BUY THESE PENS.

Fantastic color and great quality
These are amazing. Great color and good quality ink. Every so often, you'll get a batch that's somewhat difficult to get rolling, but tapping the tip to get the ink toward the end usually works. Very smooth writing and beautiful aesthetic.

The best white ink pen I've found so far
I was surprised to see these again after they were discontinued in the 90's. Back then they were ok, but they weren't the best brand on the market by far. Pentel has clearly made some improvements because in terms of pens that can write on black paper, the Milky Pop now blows everyone else away. Prior to finding these, I also tried the Sakura Jelly Rolls and the Uniball Signo (both highly recommended for writing on dark paper). The Pentel Milky Pop is hands-down the best of the three. It doesn't skip the way I've experienced with the Jelly Rolls or Signos. In fact, the Milky Pop ink flows really well, once it gets started. That said, it can take a moment to get started. Just clean it off with a quick scribble on scratch paper and it's good until you're done. No having to go back over words or stopping to clean the tip or the pen just plain giving up halfway through work. The ink flow is fairly steady, especially if you write quickly. Writing looks even with no patchiness. If you write slow or pause with the tip to the page, you might end up with a small blob of excess ink, but I think that's common with most broad tip pens. When it first hits the page, the ink may look a bit translucent, but it dries to a bright, opaque white. It doesn't take long to dry completely, but like any other pen with a bolder tip it does take a second. If you accidentally touch the ink before it's dry it may smudge (see photo).Even when dry, the ink can transfer to other pages if there's enough pressure applied. If you write on both the front and back of the page, put a piece of scrap paper between the last pages you wrote on to avoid white splotches on the previous pages (see photo). All said and done, I'd say this is a very good pen. The only thing keeping me from saying it's great is the transferring of ink when writing on the backs of pages. Aside from that, it's on par with some higher quality drugstore pens. This pen is probably most comparable to the Pilot G-2 (my hands-down favorite, go-to pen) in terms of ink flow, smoothness of writing, and opacity. And like I said at the start, all else aside, this pen is significantly better than the usual top suggestions.

Great Pens
I watched a video on these and wanted to give them a try. These are really nice pens, they write smooth, no skipping or weird streaking on the paper. I'm typically a Jelly Roll girl, but these come a close second. The sparkle is really nice, my only gripe is I can't tell the difference between the blue and purple when it's on paper, it will take a better eye than mine! The gold really isn't gold, I would call it yellow. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again and that says something!

Glitter pens
These glitter pens are some of my favorites. The colors are beautiful and they write really well.

Hit and Miss
If you are lucky enough to score a FULL set of these pens (meaning the ink is more than half way up the barrel) and not find one damaged; you are a winner! I absolutely LOVE the quality of the Sparkle Pop pens and usually purchase them from open stock at my local craft store so I can guarantee I don't have issues, such as previously noted. You can see the issues with the set I received from Amazon. The silver pen was empty with the ink pooled in the tip and packaging. I understand the pens are most likely filled by machine for a specific volume; but it's quite disheartening to open a back of new pens to see all that empty space in the barrel. I use the pens mostly for adult coloring and they write super smoothly with little jumping/scratching/blobbing. The color shift is amazing. My favorites are the purple/blue and black/red. The cap keeps the tip from drying out in between uses. I will continue to purchase open stock and if I see a good deal out here; I'll roll the dice. They are pretty pricey, so a deal is too difficult to pass by.
