Q: Why does it say tear free here? On the bottle it does not say that and my daughter cried when it has gotten in her eyes.

It's definitely not tear-free! My daughter said it burned her eyes worse than any other adult shampoos we've tried!

Q: Is this product vegan? No animal ingredients, not tested on animals?

I don't see any ingredients on the label that are not vegan friendly. I did see this posted on the manufacturer's website: Although most of our products are vegan friendly, there are some that use “No Animals Were Harmed” animal derived ingredients like honey and keratin. I absolutely LOVE this product! However, I also use it together with the swim leave-in conditioner. The conditioner does contain beeswax. So I don't know if this product will meet your needs since you may need to follow up with a conditioner that wasn't meant to be used with it.
