Purchased one of these cases for my S23 Ultra and loved it so much, I ordered a new one for my S24 Ultra. Upon opening I noticed the sides are super slick. For the love of me I can't figure out why case. manufacturers keep making slick sided cases.Ok so after some time utilizing this case, it has grown on me. Not sure if the slickness has worn off from the original manufacturing process but it has become less slick. I assume like anything else it will take some time to break in.The case is absolutely solid and I truly believe it will do it's job in protecting my phone.Torres is a solid company with excellent products. I've never owned a screen protector before but after my S23 Ultra had some screen scuff marks from storing it in an enclosed belt case, I ended up getting a Torras screen protector which I put on myself. Again I've NEVER used a screen protector before because none of them went on without air bubbles (which didn't come out). I can honestly say the Torras screen protector was SO EASY to install I'd never consider another manufacturer. I was literally like...."It can't be that easy" and you know what? It was.
