If you have some chess pieces and are just looking for a travel board to play with them on, this is an option. It's a good quality, for the most part, and nice and light weight. The colors are bold and easy to see, and it just looks nice on a table.That said, mine had a bit of creasing on it that was more than just what you're expect from rolling in shipping, and that doesn't seem to want to go away. That's why I'd give it four stars instead of five, but realistically that's probably kind of a rare event (hopefully)

When the grand kids visited we could find the chess pieces, but not the board. This is great to keep in the game shelf for future games.

It is amazing for if you and your Buddys want to hang out and play Chess. It is very portable and very flexible. The worst thing about it is that you can't really have it as flat as you want.
