I had a recurring issue with one downspout after it has fallen under a strong downpour back in the summer. I attached it back in place and sealed the join with silicon chalk just to find it fallen again a few weeks later, on the next serious rain. By the third time this happened I started looking for improvising a brace or such to better secure this segment, but then I got this sealant. So far, no more detaching, this sealant definitely provides better bond. Time will tell how well it lasts, but it seems to have solved my issue.

It's been wet and very cold in Houston for a while, so doing some projects has had to happen in little steps and have been dragged out. The rain is good but I have to consider this over-all in the use of this product.The product is as difficult or easy to use as caulk. Caulk is a learning curve so if you are DIY project oriented and caulk is new to you, it can be challenging.The caulk seems to be working well. It settles and levels and can be layered to fill low areas in a second review application. Time will tell how it holds up. We have gutters all around and were working on them over summer, but that had to carry over, or wait to complete. I'll update, because I need more time but wanted to at least address the product and some of my intended experience. I like it and it's doing what I wanted. The caulk is to be flexible, avoid cracking, white, paintable, waterproof, secure bond, hopefully will not get crusty and split or crumble.So far it is waterproof, and I was able to use the caulk to finish some seams.4 stars

Overview:As described.Experience:Perfect. Adheres and seals as advertised. Just properly prep the gutter seam and you will have no problems getting a seal. Stopped my dripping joints, now all the collected water goes where it is supposed to. Exceeded expectations. A good choice at a good price.

The application tip was supposed to be included it was missing had to buy one separate.
