Holds tight but does not rip watercolor paper
I bought this when I ran out of another tape I used. I had been trying several different tapes trying to find a replacement for what I had been using that would not pull apart my watercolor paper after painting. This worked perfectly!! I was so happy to remove the tape and get a nearly perfect edging. I never had any trouble with the tape not sticking to the board I paint on either. It held even with repeated warping from washes. I love a clean edge and this tape worked perfectly.

Watercolor wet-on-wet technique, no bleed or paper buckling
Purchased about 4 months ago, width 0.04“, came back to order more (1") for my larger paintings on watercolor paper. Perfect performance, no bleeds, easy removal with zero adhesive left behind. The 0.4" works well for my 5x7 and smaller paintings but with wet on wet technique, I want a little more 'grip' with a wider tape to prevent paper buckling as it dries, although I would not be surprised if the 0.4" would work fine. You can purchase this product with confidence, as I've had no buckling or bleed issues!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this product because I am starting to watercolor again and started slo on building up my supplies again. I may have wanted to go a little wider but I will double up for now. Can't wait to get started!

Like this tape!
The media could not be loaded. So glad I ordered the 4 pack. Works great. Tips: 1)only press the “inner edges” down firmly, (don’t over do it). 2)when removing, pull low, slow, and towards the center (reason for step 1). 3)the longer you leave any tape on (ie; days), there’s more of a chance it adheres stronger and the paper can be torn. I found I could just vigorously rub the top of the tape (slightly warming by friction) an inch or so at a time, and it removes. Other brands I’ve had to breakout the heat gun.
