This is definitely for kids only doodling not for serious drawing and definitely not thick enough for paint!! A good stocking filler sort of gift but.....

This is very cute for anime lovers. Works well. Paper is on the thinner side so pls keep that in mind.

This was a gift for a younger cousin who is now into anime. Along with a how-to-draw anime book with some of his favorite characters and the pens, pencils, etc. that I gave him, he should be ready to draw!! I hear that he did really like the sketch book and the how to draw anime book. :) The sketch book itself is very well made and quite impressive. Very happy with this purchase!
