I’d say not ideal. It’s built for shorte4 hair; I think it would clog with longer hair. Hope that helps.

Q: I have fluffy neck hair, normal clipper guards cant cut. As this is rotary will this cut the fluff with guard on for allover buzz cut??

Yes its possible without guards on, but I've found it struggles with the curves of the neck a bit, it cuts very close without guards, just like a normal clipper, not smooth skin close though. Hope that helps.
