Different shade than previous lilac
I was surprised to see that this lilac and one I purchased prior to are a bit different in shade. This one has some warmth to it. Very pretty just different from what I thought.

Nice
This lip color is really light on me, so I line my lip with a lip liner that is darker then this and put on some lip gloss and it’s good to go as a nude lip but if you like your colors bolder then this isn’t it. It is a very nice shade once you pair it with a gloss to bring the color out a bit. It’s my cup of tea cause I love nude colors but they did have darker if that’s more your thing.

Great color, but…
I love the color. A soft browny pinkish color. Very pretty, however, it doesn’t stay on as well as I would like. If I worried about it (which I don’t) I would probably have to reapply at least twice in a normal day. I still like it though!

Great for skin with blue undertones
My skin has blue undertones and due to current trends (oranges, rusts, browns) I have been unable to find a good berry toned lipstick that adds a little color but is not too overstated for every day. I've been using this lipstick for several years and keep reordering. When I saw that there was only one tube of LILAC remaining I reordered immediately!

Make-up should have an expiration notice
I usually by Bobbi Brown make up directly, at the Bobbi Brown section at Nordstroms. Her lipstick always smells fresh, and glides on smoothly. The Bobbi Brown lipstick I just received smelled rancid when I took the cap off. It smelled old. It was dry, didn't glide smoothly on my lips. I was very disappointed and went to Nordstroms and bought a tube, brought it home and did a little test. Have you ever found a jar of cream that got lost in the back of your makeup drawer, opened and it smelled bad? Same thing. I would not recommend buying this high end lipstick on line. Buy it fresh in the make-up department of your favorite store.
