Q: Whats better this or a blackstone? (Electric)

I have both. I recommend both. I use and keep the Blackstone outside and I use the Ninja inside when the weather won’t allow outside cooking.

Q: Do you need to season the griddle before using?

No. Both griddle and grill plates have a non stick coating and does not require any pre seasoning.

Q: Is this truly smokeless?

Not really. There's not much smoke but it's not completely smokeless. Let me put it this way; it won't set off your smoke alarm.

Q: Can it be used in a bedroom/dorm?

Yes I believe it can be used in a dorm as long as you have a sturdy place to sit it on and open area so u don't set off smoke detectors....it does get very hot and cooks fast....also make sure you have permission to use these type of appliances.
