Helly HansenWomen's Hh LIFA Pant Pant

I tried several types of such pants/base layers. These are definitely the best. I will get these or similar from HH from now on and will probably look at other garments in their range. I find these pants an excellent fit, warm in just the right way. Most importantly, they allow for great flexibility of movement. Perfect for active living: at the moment I use them on their own but I am certain they perform great as a base layer.

The product does not stretch at all and runs very small. Doesn’t seem very comfortable either due to the lack of stretch. Cannot comment on the warmth as I haven’t worn it out but seems like it would work for summer month layering.

HH base layers are good, but as others have commented, this is way too small, meaning unusable. We are not talking about someone trying to delude themselves that they are 'small' when they are not. It is simply that HH's sizes seem to be too small for the respective size category.

I bought the Helly Hansen Women's W HH Lifa Pant Baselayer (Black, Small) on Amazon, and while they were cheap for Helly Hansen, the experience has been very disappointing.Initially, I was pleased—the fit was good, and they looked stylish. However, when I compared them to other Helly Hansen thermals I still own and have used, some for over 8 years, they didn’t seem genuine. As a Norwegian, I go back most years to ski, so my older Helly Hansen thermals have had plenty of use and still look in great condition. The label inside these new ones was different, the signature black-and-white stripe design seemed slightly off, and the fabric felt noticeably cheaper and lighter than my older gear.Unfortunately, the poor quality became apparent after the first wear. The fabric tore away from the stitching across the back, forming a ladder down the entire leg—completely unrepairable. This has never happened with any of my previous Helly Hansen products.Either these are counterfeit, or Helly Hansen has drastically lowered their standards. I expected far better durability and quality, especially from a trusted brand like this. Definitely wouldn’t recommend these.

As other reviewers have said these are a small fit and do not stretch! Mine split on the seam the first time of skiing in them! I have 2 pairs I bought over 10 years ago and they are still going (one pair a size smaller!) Not sure what has happened to the quality.

Not entirely impressed with these base layers.for a start ,they do not come high enough up your waist. They practically just sit on your hips. I’m a size small , and got a size up because of previous reviews saying they are made small. ‘ But these are really small.
