I give about a third of a dropper to my very old Persian cat. Several years ago she began to cry out when trying to poop. This keeps her regular with no crying out. For humans and animals it a wonderful tool for keeping kidneys and liver cleansed and functioning well. I tried other brands (cheaper) and wasn't happy (you get what you pay for, right?). I called their customer service department with a question and they were very good at answering my question, very pleasant - which I value highly.
