Very sturdy and easy to install. I placed a series of them in hallway walls leading to the basement. No longer in fear of falling on the narrow staircase!

We don't have a railing going into the basement of our old house - so this handle has added the safety I needed. Real sturdy, and looks attractive - unlike the large metal bars people use in the bathroom.

Perfect for this old 74 year old to get up into the house from the garage. Well made, nice and sturdy.

The product arrived on time. I installed this at the top of my stairs on the 2nd floor horizontally - I needed something to grab as I get up to the top.I only give it 4 stars because the 3 holes to mount the railing does not fit in1.5". I made sure that I was able to mount 2 screws in the middle of the stud and holds very well - just wish that I would have been able to mount 3 screws.

Exactly what I needed for the wall at the top of the stairs from my basement to the main floor. I use a stair lift and it is so helpful once I ride it to the top of my stairs to get up. Especially if I have something on my lap I am bringing up with me. And it matches my railing.
