Everything came preassembled and we all built well with no damages in shipping.

Good, but the price adds up if I need more than one. If I am in a pinch, I get this. If I am not, I will keep shopping, because this is kind of expensive. The quality is good for the supers. Some of the wax on the foundations does not have the beeswax smell, it is kind of suspicious, like what is this? In a pinch, this is a good option if you can afford it.

Easy! Opened the box and added them to my hives. No assembly

I have been using four BeeCastle hives in my apiary since March 2024. I am extremely happy with the craftmanship of their product. When I originally ordered my first three complete hives, one had a cracked front board. They sent a replacement within 24 hours and I received it in three days. I will continue to use their product for the foreseeable future. Thanks, BeeCastle!

For me it’s worth the extra money to have it already assembled.

Update: Bee Castle offered to send an unassembled super to replace the damaged box. Based on that, I am modifying my initial review. I appreciate that this company stands by its product.Initial Review: I paid extra for an assembled super. So I was disappointed to see that a chunk of the corner was knocked out when someone inserted the top screw. No mistaking -- the screw is exposed and the top corner of the wood is gone. That means that honey bees can escape or enter through the hole in the corner. Maybe there is pressure for speed in assembly, but no excuse.

First year bee keeper and easy to assemble. Love the wax coating. Will buy another next year.
