Thermostat calls for cool air because it is to hot in your home so the blower kicks on and sends signal thru the control board to the outside unit , the contractor kicks down and starts the compressor and fan , few moments later cool home! Love it

This one has the lugs for the thick wire that many others don't.

It broke down again after less than a year of use

When the coil pulls in the relay it is very loud
