Fantastic and unusual warplane
I loved every minute of working on this model.Quality of parts excellent as usual from Tamiya.A very unusual plane and looks superb when finished. Only minor thing to mention is that the nose radar arials are very fine and easy to damage so you might not want to use all of them. It’s got its own nose weight which is an integral part of the dashboard.Great value

Space Age WW2 night Fighter
Breathtaking scale model, only 300 or so built, first in the world to feature Ejection Seats. 30' Upward-firing 30mm "Schräge Musik" autocannons downed bombers by stealth. Effective radar, high manoeuvrability. Fantastic panel fit, white metal cabin section to weight the model onto its tripod undercarriage.Recommended!

Accurate model and an easy build.
Went together reasonably well, no real issues - typical Tamiya quality, crisp clean panel lines but limited level of detail. Would benefit significantly from aftermarket accessories. Builds into quite a big model with little effort straight from the box. A great platform for an interesting late German WW2 paint scheme!

Beautiful He 219 Uhu in 1/48
With a nose weight built into the cockpit Tamiya has once again shown great care and innovation. The landing gear is a little tricky so I opted for the SAC metal replacements. The build is straight forward and the fuselage fits together seemelesly .A very unique subject with plenty of paint schemes to choose from. Two pilots give this one scale and add to the overall finish. Probably an intermediate build for most modelers with few problems except the landing gear.
