Makes raised notary seals visible on copies or scans.
I purchased the graphite block to rub over Notary seals that are embossed. The problem is the embossed raised seals don’t show up in a scan sent in an email unless rubbed with the graphite. My state Treasurer requires the seals to be visible in the scanned copies. Works great!

Solid. High quality. Exactly what I wanted.
This thing is really cool. It's a solid chunk and came in perfect condition. The packaging was designed for protection as these blocks are fragile. It's like having a giant pencil! I plan to use this a long side a peltier cooler to transfer heat since the graphite has a high thermal transfer number.

Good for use as a laser dump
I work on lasers in the field at customer sites. I primarily use this chunk of graphite as a Co2 laser dump (sub 50W) to warmup the laser prior to verification and testing. It is an invaluable tool and it doesn't take up space in my mobile tool case. It's holding up great so far.

It's exactly what it says it is. It's super dense, so if you're buying this to cheap out on getting graphite powder, just get the powder instead.
