Good CADR for Price
I spent months searching for an air purifier that actually works, and came to the conclusion that the CADR (clean air delivery rate) of this air purifier and the materials its filters are comprised of are impressive for the price. I purchased the Vital 200S unit for my bedroom (probably 12x18 feet) and have no complaints, though I recommend waiting for it to be on sale as it often is. The machine helps with smells (even vapors) and air quality; my room smells neutral when the machine is running. It’s very easy to set up the unit for the first time and to maintain its cleanliness and replace filters. The best added features are the night mode which dims the display lights automatically when the environment is dark, and the lock feature which makes sure kids and pets don’t change the purifier settings. Also the 200S is compatible with an app that has air quality alerts and routine/schedule customizations; I couldn’t go back to manually getting this info again. The difference from fan 2 to fan 3 is noticable; I like to use the DIY setting and put the fan speed to 50% or 60% for a good mix of air filtration and not too much white noise.Location/Appearance: I love that you can place the back of the machine against a flat surface as long as you have the sides and front clear of about a foot; that’s one of the biggest advantages of a square/rectangular air purifier. Additionally, the white and black color options can blend well into your living space; they’re not aesthetic but they’re not an eyesore, especially since it doesn’t have to be in the middle of a room/away from walls. The unit may look heavy but it’s around ten pounds and has divots on the sides to act as handles to carry the machine.

Smart, Quiet, and Powerful
What I Loved1. Powerful Filtration The 3-stage filtration system—consisting of a pre-filter, HEPA filter, and activated carbon layer—works exceptionally well. Within just an hour of running in a mid-sized living room (approx. 400 sq ft), I noticed a significant reduction in dust and pet dander. The H13 True HEPA filter captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, including allergens, which is a game-changer for allergy season.2. Smart Functionality with the VeSync App The ability to control the unit remotely, set schedules, and monitor air quality in real-time via the VeSync app is incredibly convenient. Integration with Alexa and Google Assistant adds hands-free control, which is a nice bonus in a smart home setup.3. Quiet Yet Powerful On Auto or Sleep Mode, the noise level is barely noticeable—under 24 dB—making it ideal for bedrooms or home offices. Even at higher settings, it's more of a steady hum than a disruptive sound.4. Air Quality Sensor & Auto Mode The built-in laser dust sensor detects changes in air quality and adjusts fan speed accordingly. I tested this by lighting a candle, and within moments the unit kicked into a higher gear—visibly clearing the air and bringing the AQI reading back down.5. Sleek, Modern Design The matte white finish and minimalist design fit nicely in most home décors. It's compact without compromising airflow and easy to move around if needed. What could be better: No Built-In Humidity Sensor: Some premium models include both air quality and humidity data—this one only offers AQI, which may be a limitation for those in drier climates.

This is my 5th Levoit in my home that has 7 total purifiers
I've recently replaced some purifiers with the Levoit models. My VERY expensive Aeris no longer had a functioning app after Roomba bought the company out, so I tossed it and got a Core 400. I liked it so much that over the last 2 weeks I got another Core 400, this 200S-P, also today they delivered a 100S-P for the smaller bedroom, and I have another small core one for the master bathroom to keep down the dust.So out of seven purifiers, where I used to have five manufacturer's products, I only have three now.I don't use them for air quality, I don't have breathing issues. I just like the reduced dust. Since my son graduated and moved out nearly 3 years ago, I live in the house alone, and am not a fan of dusting. So all these purifiers really help cut that down. They run silently in auto mode. And unlike the others, when they do kick into high, they're not NEARLY as annoyingly loud. Even the bigger Core-400 at the highest setting is only about as loud as the nearby Air+Health that's in the connected great room when it's about 30 to 40%. The sensors are really capable of noting things. Tonight was the first time that the purifiers in the first two bedrooms on the OTHER SIDE of the house from the kitchen noticed and responded to the changes in the air when I was cooking chicken on the stovetop. Tonight is also the first time I had Levoit in them instead of the Winix ones that these replaced today, when the Winix smart apps stopped working right and I couldn't do schedules anymore. The prices are so much better than the expensive ones (this one was LESS than 1/5th the cost of that Aeris I tossed out last week) but they are just as effective in my house. And the control via the app is superb. I already had some smart devices using the VeSync app, so adding these was a breeze. No need to activate a wireless access point on the devices to connect your phone or something - simply hold the power button down until the wifi light blinks, and VeSync finds them right away. A quick firmware update and they were up and running. And I love the fact that they UPDATE their firmware in these things...You can't go wrong with any of these models. I'm loving all of them so far.
