The chrome piece that connects the mic to the boom arm doesn't clamp down and swings left/right. How do I clamp it down?

I agree with 'the flick pick'. It's a HUGE design flaw. Just received mine, and paired it up with a Blue Yeti. The neck of the arm where the mic connects to absolutely will NOT hold the mic up. I doubt it will hold anything in place that weighs a few pounds. The only way is to keep it upright or facing downward. But the slightest bump will tilt the mic and swivel where the weight is being centered. So much for usability. It's as if they didn't even test it or anything, LMAO. Returning this one and getting a refund. SO DISAPPOINTING.

what is the max weight it can hold? I have a Samson G track Pro and it weights 1.2lbs

It is rated up to 5 lbs... I use it with the G track pro with no problems at all

What's the minimum amount of desk lip needed for the clamp to be sturdy? I have 1 inch.

The circular plate underneath is about 1 inch in diameter, so anything more than an inch would not add to the stability at all. This is a great product, by the way. I have a Blue Snowball mic which is quite heavy and the arm is solid.

What is the height distance for the desk mount I need one that’s is at least 3 inches and this one looks kinda big but I want to be sure.

More than three inches are available. The limit is a little less than 3.5 inches.
