Great history book on jewellery, arrived super quickly in great shape! Absolutely satisfied with my purchase.

Book as expected and has proved very useful.

The text contains some useful information for the more specific study of jewellery making in Birmingham. the book identified elements of the trade that are not generally associated with Birmingham.

what a let-down. hardly any photos. mostly in black and white so couldn't appreciate the possible beauty of the pieces. do not waste your money as this book is badly written and not worth a look!

I recently began a jewelry making course, and I purchased this book to broaden my knowledge and understanding of jewelry in general.The book covers the history of western jewelry from prehistory to contemporary times. It has excellent and inspiring images of artifacts discussed, and the writing style is engaging and easy to read.Its shortcoming would perhaps be that it focuses almost entirely on western jewelry history, but overall this is an excellent book!
