Performs as listed
First, thank you to everyone who adds comment reviews; as a consumer, I find them very helpful. The sensors have been installed for over a week and have performed as listed. I'm giving it a 5-star rating due to the inexpensive cost of the product. As many other reviewers commented on the alarm sensor it can be annoying with the beeping due to heavy traffic. I will probably do what others have done by disconnecting the alarm (the nice part is you can unplug the alarm without sniping the wires). I installed it on my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and found that I didn't need the sensor brackets as the rear bumper was already at a 20-degree angle. The system I found very easy to install. However, patience is required. Plan on about 4 to 5 hours to install, depending on how anal you are about making it look factory installed. Helpful accessories I found to make the installation easier, spend the extra $20 and purchase the Fuse Adapter, T Tap Wire Connectors, and molding tool remover.

No bad I don't understand the bad reviews...
This BSM works great for the price ...I don't understand what people are talking About. I install it and it is working just fine I did had to set it to 22 degrees that may just be my vehicle to get it work right .. but other then that it works like a charm... no false reading and no Alarm sound it only makes a sound when your turn signal is on. And somone is in there blind spot. But it is only a ding for a 2 sec and that is it.. I think the people that commented bad is people that did not install it right ....

Waaay to complicated to install.
My mechanic, who installs engines and rebuilds transmissions, wouldn't touch it. Quick refund, though.

Pretty good
They work pretty well! They light up with motion and if I use my blinker with it lit, it will beep

Bracket not functional
The sensors have sticky tape for bumpers. The L bracket requires installer to glue on sensor. These sensors would not swivel to refine angle. No picture showing installation of bracket. Installation for bracket on separate page of paper.

Works Much Better than Expected
I installed this system into my FJ Cruiser. My expectations were not that high but this really seems to work well so far. It picks up cars as they come into your blind spot. I saw one comment that the system doesn't activate when you are passing cars and then they go into your blind spot which for me is a plus. When I pass a car I know it's going into my blind spot. I only want notifications when a car drives into my blind spot from the rear, which this system does. I didn't install the audible alarm because that would just get annoying. Installation does require some experience working on cars. If needed I am sure any good automotive audio/video installer would take on this installation. I would say it's about a 3 to 4 hour job.The price is good and for now I do recommend this product.

Works great/ warning triggers for cars 2 or even 3 lanes over...
Installing this system takes a few good hours but seeing it work during the test drive is worth all that labour. The system itself works as advertised, great for the family car, hopefully lasts too. The chinese to english google translate manual is okay for the most part. The diagram shows the 2 power wires connected separately to ACC 12V and to DC 12V (constant battery power) but the step by step instructions say to connect each to ACC... Use the diagram wiring to get the extra security beeps if someone walks around your car after you park and take out the keys. The system stays on for about 2 minutes after you take out the key from ignition. If both power leads are connected to ACC then the system is powerless as soon as you take the key out of the ignition. I didn't see anything about this feature in the manual, so at first I thought I wired it wrong and the system is permanently on as in running straight from the battery 12 V. Not the case. The 20 degree angle of the sensors is tough to get spot on, I actually was expecting the requirement to be more like 45... I think I over compensated and installed the sensors at slightly less than 20 deg (facing too straight back) so when I'm at a stop light and a car stops close to my rear bumper, both led lights come on as if I got cars in both blind spots. Otherwise while driving both sensors pick up the cars in both blind spots as they should. Also if a car is driving behind me and I turn right for example, with the right turn signal on, as I make the turn, the system picks up the car that's continuing to go straight as now a car that's in my right side blind spot so I get the 3 warning beeps just before I get the chance to complete the turn and before the turn signal cancels. Maybe this is how it is though, I put that car in my blind spot by turning I guess, definitely something I can get used to.For lane change assist it's definitely working well and it picks up the cars as they enter your blind spots (most of the incoming car length is still visible in the side mirrors at that point actually). That's where it counts.Downgraded this to only 3 stars after driving around a bit more. Noticed on the freeway the warning triggers for cars 2 or even 3 lanes over... Disconnected the buzzer. The sensors may be way too sensitive and pick up cars that are way too far... Still works for the cars in the blind spots but the fact that it gives too many false warnings really makes the beeps meaningless. If the led light is on, it just means there could be a car in your blind spot or 2 or 3 lanes over, not completely useless info I guess but I expected better.Took the sensors off the bumper cover and installed them on the car's chassis using home made sheet metal mounting brackets. Angled them down a good 20 degrees and out 25 instead of the specified 20. Things improved significantly. May revise the rating back to 5 stars after a week of driving around. The sensors are great and very accurate. I think with the right mounting/adjustment they can work perfectly.
