Works surprisingly well. Covers and colors well, but not very metallic looking. That little tube covers a huge area. A little goes a long, long way.

Love this stuff! It looks like a small tube but it takes such a small amount to do the job! I bought drawer handles that were too orangey gold for my taste so i used a small amount of this to tone them down. It comes with sponge applicators, takes seconds to apply & its quite durable. I applied 3 mos ago on handles that are used daily, still looks perfect. It does have a smell that dissipates within a few hours, leaves no residue or texture feeling when touched nor does it come off on hands once dry. Again, small tube but incredible value!

Rub'n Buff is a great product. I highly recommend the application tools. I was restoring a cast metal sign, with a lot of fine details, that I wanted to apply the Rub'n Buff on. The tools came in a variety of sizes which were perfect for my project. They were worth every penny.
