My 9 year old used this book to learn the whole read from right to left manga way.

Got this for my 5yo on her birthday - she said she wanted "anything cats" and given her personality, this fit the bill. We expected it to be purely pictures since there is no text in photos for the listing, but nope, it's an all-out Manga. That said, yes you open it "backwards" as that is the way most manga are. The page numbers help if it gets confusingStoryline is episodic, and the evil deeds are usual cat things like shedding on clothes, falling asleep on the owner so they can't move, etc. In many cases the cats actually do good, in the guise of mischief 😅 it's a fun way to read with my girl and we both genuinely like itMy only qualm is that the evil cat' intro is in many of the panels, so a notable portion of the book is the same panel over and over again. Like maybe 5% of it. Since it's a continuous piece, this kind of feels like a cop out for filling more panels and is a little annoying as a reader. But all in all, it's a cute book and my daughter loves it.

The daycare child I gifted this to absolutely loves it! It came in pristine condition and apparently is very popular with the middle school kids.

This is a really cute manga! I had to proof read it before giving it as a gift, and It did have mentions of drugs. It's on like two or three of the comic strips, though. But yeah, its really cute and honestly pretty funny. I would recommend!

My 4th grader (with dyslexia) loves the cat characters, hasn't put it down yet! She said it's weird to read the book "backwards" like a anime manga.

Book is printed backwards to USA standards: right to left, bound on the right. Apparently, this is a problem for my 8 year old to read backwards. Although it looks like a cute graphic novel, I'm hoping to fine one bound the other way.
