Q: is the cable enough resistent to be used in gym?

Ideally you'd want earphones, other than wireless ones, that curve the cable around the ear and then the cable has a clip that clips the cable to the back of your shorts or the top of a t shirt for the gym, these don't and are really for general use with a phone or media player of some sort. The Betron BR74 or the V3 models are more for the gym or active sports.....you might have to buy separate clips from somewhere else

Q: Are these compatible with the Samsung Galaxt Tab 4s?

They are compatible on my MP3 player, iPad and iPhone so I would've thought they will be fine.

Do you have an earphone socket on your phone? If it does then you're good to go, if it only has a usb c then you can fit an adapter

wires are great and tangle proof,ear phones great too but the thing is in our house one of our cats CHEWS through them and i am now ordering my 3rd pair!!!!
