I’ve been using the Milkshake Icy Blond Conditioner to keep my platinum hair from going brassy, and it’s fantastic! The black pigment is bold but works wonders—after a 3-minute application, my blonde shifts to a crisp, icy tone that’s perfect for fighting yellow hues. The scent is a juicy grape-blackberry vibe that makes shower time a treat, though it fades after drying. It’s creamy, hydrating, and leaves my hair soft without heaviness, thanks to the milk proteins. Be careful not to overdo it—left it on too long once and got a slight gray tint (my fault, not the product’s!). Great for maintenance, not a total brass fix if your hair’s super porous. Love it and will repurchase!

Seriously impressed with this stuff. I have various shades of blonde throughout, from level 7-10. This toned down the orange in my 7, while brightening my 10. It somehow manages to do this without overtoning my brightest pieces! I’ll absolutely be purchasing the full line.Also, it literally smells like grape juice. So good!

This is one of my new favorite hair products. I was a little nervous to try it since it's black. I'm an ash blonde with my hair turning white (aging). I dislike yelllow tones in my hair. Milk Shake's Icy Blond condictioner has given me back the non-yellow blond tint I love and has left my hair feeling soft. My hair feels like it has more body to it. Bonus - I love the grape scent!

This toner and conditioner is fabulous. Tones great and leaves hair silky smooth.

This product works great to tone down red/brassy tones. The fragrance, however, smells like grape kool-aid. I do not like personal care products that smell like food or drink. The grape smell lingers in my styled hair for a couple of days afterwards. Product needs to be revamped to have a nice clean and refreshing aroma. I put up with the grape kool-aid smell because the product delivers fantastic toning on stubborn red/brassy tones in blonde hair. Achieves better toning results than most violet products out on the market. If product had a nice clean smell, I would give 5+ stars.

This is the best conditioner for light blonde hair !! My hair always feel great and smells great after I use this.

I love both the shampoo and conditioner but would recommend using one or the other they are pretty strong. It will give me purple blue hair otherwise. I mix both with a white conditioner (or shampoo) and it gives just enough tone. Great product!

Caused 100x more breakage/shedding than I had before I used it. Only took one wash to see how bad it was. Like. I like the idea of charcoal but the risk of not being able to get a comb through my hair is not worth it.
