Q: Can you still get a tan whilst applying such a high spf?

I use this product specifically when I go power walking, I also wear a hat with a peak - year round. It is almost complete protection. I have had 6 carcinomas removed (too much sunbathing when younger and with no protection). If you want to tan slowly, then you will probably need a lower spf . Recommend think carefully about too much sun exposure. My situation has concentrated my mind. Good luck.

Q: will this stop my skin getting dark pigmentation marks?

It say among other things it protects against age spots, broken capillaries & uneven skin tone. I use it on the golf course & sunbathing & find it to be excellent. Even though its a very high protection face sun cream it goes on & feels more like a luxury face cream that keeps skin hydrated all day. No stinging, not greasy or shiny & does not make face look white. I would recommend to you

Q: do you wear this before moisturiser or after? and before or after applying make up?

I don't wear Neutrogena Age Shield with make up. As with any of these types of products it has a certain smell - not awful and very minimal, but there all the same. I use it when power walking outside usually in the morning before showers, make up etc. It then gets washed off. I use a make up product with sun block - no smell at all. However, if I were to wear it with make up, I would put it on before application so the shine would be covered up with the rest.

Q: Trying to work out the uva rating? Would it be like a 5 star uk version?

Spf 110 and worked very well on my face and bold head. Don't think it said uva rating but very good.
