These rods are far and way the best I've ever purchased (and I'm a senior). After significant research and installing an Umbra over a picture window, I went back to the drawing board and replaced the remaining rods in the house with these beautiful all metal (unlike many) rod sets (in matte black) throughout the rest of the house.The oval backplate is brilliant; it's easy to install and beautifully hidden. We installed the middle of the backplate about 1.25" below the ceiling (i.e. in the header for the walls) with 1.5" screws to enure they were sturdy, yet easily removable when necessary, and to maximize energy savings. (Your measurements may necessarily vary for your home.) This application is so sturdy that it's easy to install and remove draperies by simply unscrewing the rods in place.The rods sit 2" and 4.5" from the window, giving them just enough air space to help insulate without standing out too far into your room. The wrap around end feature is not only stylish, but surprisingly energy efficient.IMHO, you can't go wrong with these!

This looks amazing and is sturdy. I put it on myself (use good anchors not the ones they provide) in under 30 minutes and have easily switched out drapes 7 different times. I have been experimenting with different fabric drapes to get just the right ones and this rod is a million times better than any curtain rods I have installed before in my 4 decades on this earth. Even my teen said this was great engineering. Just be sure to use solid drywall anchors. I am currently hanging heavy linen curtains with black outs on the inner rods and they move with great ease.

LOVE THIS CURTAIN ROD! The installation is very easy as long as you make sure it is all level AND MUST BE PLACE INTO STUDS especially the center. I will say if you are using thick curtains on this rod it is A LOT easier to hang it up with 2 people. If you're using curtain rings place your curtain rings on the rod THEN attach your curtain. Makes your life a million times easier if you have thick curtains like I do. The only downside to these are on a traditional rod you can take off the finial on one end and change or add curtains. This you have to completely unmount the entire fixture and then twist off the rod you need to change up. Will definately be purchasing again though.

I purchased several of these rods and love them. They are of high quality and very easy to install. They way they attach to the wall is simple and allows for a quick change of curtains.Don’t hesitate to purchase them.
