Excellent for the price.Importantly, these fans do work and are not just a nice to watch gimmick. I have two fans, pointing in opposing directions, placed on the top of the woodburner. If you get your head to the same level as the fan and then move up or down, you can really feel the difference in temperature, higher where the fan is redistributing the stove's heat.The fan is very quiet in operation, but if you do encounter any noise issues, then I recommend removing the fan blade (a simple Allen key job), and applying a small amount of spray lithium grease to the base of the motor spindle, then wiping off excess before reassembly. This method worked great for me, eliminating a small noise that had developed.Also, comes with a magnetic temperature gauge which is very useful for helping keep the stove at an ideal temperature.Overall, very happy with my purchase and by way of recommendation, its a 10 out of 10 from me.

So far so good. Great value for money. I've spent 4 times the cost of this on a fan prior and I don't see any difference. Comes with the stove thermostat and bracket for the stove chimney, if you have one.

Not sure if the thermometer will be any use. But the fan is perfect and works as it should. Connected to the flue, all connections supplied. Very happy with and a bargain

The media could not be loaded. The fan is of solid construction and spins when the fire is lit as advertised. It's virtually silent at full speed. I mounted mine on the stove flue where it is tidier than on top of the stove, and it spins around like a helicopter there. Reason I mounted mine on stove because I dry herbs, mushrooms and vegetables bfrom the garden on a rack over the stove for winter use. I figured a fan would reduce drying times.However, the "Wind" or "great air circulation" around the room good enough to dry clothes that some reviews mention is farcical. I'd question the legitimacy of some of those reviews, as it has no significant impact that I can see.When the stove is burning hot and fan blades at full throttle, I have used lengths of tissue paper to measure the actual distance the fan pushes air. Less than 1m I would say conservatively. I would suggest this to be a design flaw in the blades.Their angle is too flat to bite into air to generate any noticeable air current. The flatter the blade, the quicker they spin, but the less effective they are.Its basically an expensive gimmick to impress visitors. Think I'll invest in a small battery fan with better blade design that operates at higher RPM.BTW - The temp of the side of stove is in excess of 200C according to the included thermometer in this video. The stove flue where fan is mounted would be far in excess of this. I have also tried locating fan at different heights where temperature varies, but this achieves little difference.
