I bought this for my son who doesn't quite understand elapsed time yet. He loves "beating the clock" when it comes to using this as a motivator, and he's starting to understand how long 5 minutes is when it's a timer to turn things off.What I love about this is that it has two volume presets for the alarm, but also that it has the option to be silent and it uses a light to flash when time is up. Not only is that lovely for my overstimulated self, but it also is accessible for those hard of hearing.I thought it was a great value for all of the features and very easy to use.

There are many sixty minutes timers but not like this one. Its analog, circular clock face has sixty ticks with every five minute interval numbered. So what, nothing new here. But wait, the area following the minute hand changes from white to blue indicating elapsed time. This active visual aid, simple as it is, makes learning to count and understand elapsed time concrete and far less abstract. Moreover, it can also be used to introduce simple fractions.

Bought two, helping to teach my toddler the concept of different amounts of time. He can be sensitive to sound so I am so grateful for the light only option. Battery has lasted a solid two weeks so far, but I can’t speak for longer than that. I thought maybe it was a bit much for a simple timer but the features it has makes it very worth it.

I love this! My daughter gets easily distracted and loses track of time. Telling her she had so many minutes to complete a task didn’t work, but this visual timer does. Now she can look at the time and SEE the color slowly becoming less and adjust her speed of completing a task as needed. This has been super helpful in our home. I like that when the timer rings it is super easy to shut off, turning the light off and on is also super easy. I recommend this product.

Decent visual timer. Very loud long annoying buzz when the time is up. A bit spendy. Otherwise it works well

The visual timer works well for my kids when they need a countdown. I appreciate that the display is similar to a normal clock so we can double up on what the minute hand would mean. The beeping is the right volume, loud enough but not ear splitting.
