I've used alot of traffic meters and for the money, it's doesn't get any better than this! Also would be a great back up. Shows traffic direction, and strength! I've bought 2.

as a fiber splicer we rely on these tools to check for continuity by way of 1k tone 2k tone etc.. this device was made of poor quality, the audible tone didn't work and the direction of light traffic didn't work, would get the same reading with fiber in the device or just simply squeezing the test trigger, overall crap from China.

it works to let you know there is light. however the reading is not too accurate. shows intermittent readings, actual numbers and direction fluctuates alot. maybe faulty meter. its works enough for now. not expecting it to last too long.

Traffic identification is sometimes going the wrong direction. It will read -34 when others read -6. The power reading never stops at one number, just keeps fluctuating sporadically. I have even tried it in the dark and cleaned everything, even though it is brand new.
